Description

A penetrating 12 gauge round which fires a 125-grain, 80 durometer, OC or CS filled rubber projectile. This round was designed to punch through and introduce the chemical upon hitting a hard surface, i.e. dry wall, concrete, glass masonite, or hollow core doors. This round was designed to be fired through dry wall or glass and not to be fired directly at individuals.

Background: The Barricade OC/CS Projectile was developed to provide a non-pyrotechnic means of introducing small but effective amounts of OC/CS into a confined space. The 1216P is designed to induce behavior modification when an individual is not directly in line of fire and conventional target acquisition techniques are not conducive to the operation.
